You know you've been working with airchecks too long when your 3 year old son walks around the house singing (yes, singing) "Q105...Tampa Bay" (the one from the top of the hour) and now all he wants to listen to is the Friday Festivites aircheck (on the website). In fact when a radio is on guess what station he wants it on? You guessed it..Q105. He doesn't care for the music, all he wants to listen to is the jingles.

I think it's time to move on to other airchecks. I've created a monster.

You're talking jingles...but, I have a similar story. I manage a EZ/Standards/Softer-than-Soft AC NPR station...and volunteer as PD for an LPFM here in NC that plays 80's music. My five year old sings along with stuff like 'One Way Or Another' by Blondie and 'Love Shack' by B-52's. Don't guess she'll be hangin' out with the cool kids in the class of 2018!
