Q13 in Prime Time?

Is that even allowed? Fox station...moving 8PM primetime to later for their own news program? Idiotic move, in any case.
 
No... I'm thinking KZJO will air this as well. KZJO will air news from 8-10pm so KCPQ can continue to air FOX primetime.

KPTV already does it on KPDX. So can KCPQ on KZJO.
 
Has to be JoeTV. Which moves whatever airs at 8PM to later at night. They already run MyNetworkTV at 1-3 in the morning anyways, but it's all reruns of drama shows. They haven't even done promos for MyNetworkTV since the days of KMYQ 'MyQ2' about 9 years ago.
I'm surprised they have stuck with the JoeTV moniker after all these years.

No... what I'm saying is that JOE TV should just rebrand already to Q13 Plus in the same way KPTV rebranded its sister station KPDX to FOX 12 Plus last year.

Yes, that is fine, but is KCPQ really going to air an 8pm live newscast in place of Fox programming? I think not.

No. That's where JOE TV comes in.
 
This sounds just like what is done here in Minneapolis
WFTC (FOX9+) has a 7pm newscast for an hour. Remember prime time in Central time zone is 7-10 or 7-9 for FOX. WFTC is the sister station of KMSP FOX 9

so on screener/zap2it on the 19th it says on JoeTv "Q13 news at 8" followed by "Q13 news at 9"

Yeah, I think this thread is just a long way of saying the Fox product will be availble at 8pm in Seattle. The wording of the OP was a bit confusing.
 
The 8 pm newscast debuted tonight. Marni Hughes & David Rose anchor while Walter Kelly does weather. It appears Marni has moved off the 4 & 5 pm shows and Jamie Tompkins is now the 4 & 5 pm co-anchor with Brian Flores.
