Q92.9 Looking for FT On Air Announcer

I was perusing the ever popular City Paper this evening when low and behold, a large ad on page 61 looking for full time on air announcer. Candidates must have 5 years experience and make on site appearances and do production too.

Hmmm, Could it be one of the two morning folks possibly leaving, or maybe they are going to start having someone live in the afternoon drive? Any thoughts being they left Gallagher and a few others go awhile back?

Looks like it may be for the 9-2 shift as Cohill seems to only be working Saturday now as per their website.
 
It is a mid day slot as mid days were previously tracked by J Cruze. No doubt they will receive many applicants. Their choice will be interesting to see. All that ratings momentum Q generated so quickly was wasted because the owner decided to program it himself for months when the PD went to Buffalo. The management at Wish and Star should be ashamed for not taking advantage of such a strategic blunder at their competitor.
