Q92 Website!

Well, since we now have Scott Studios and are gonna replace all the Local Jocks with my BUDDIES, I can voice track and go play golf or go to the Ribs Burn Off.

Constructive comments here:

1) The front page is too cluttered. The concept is good, but it's bunched together too much... too small. If you were to take that same layout and give it some more spacing, it'd look pretty good.

2) Your events list on the bottom of that page should link to a separate page where the listener can see everything in list form, that way if they want to see what's going on, further out than just a day or two, they can do it without clicking the right arrow an excessive number of times. I see that you have that accomplished with the "Calendar" link at the top of the page, but it wouldn't kill you to have the listing at the bottom linked to that calendar as well.

3) You should NEVER have an empty photo album on your website. Get some of the archived images in there, at least until you start taking new ones.

4) Not sure the chat room is the best of ideas... All you're doing is encouraging your listeners to simply sit in the chat room and talk to your jocks / each other, without (necessarily) listening to your on-air signal. Now if you streamed, that would be a different story.

5) With your top navigational menu, have the individual menu options "jump out at you" when you hover the mouse over them... Just a simple flash job, I think. Right now, all the options just sit there... Which can make them get lost in the rest of the page, IMO.

Other than that, not all that bad! Certainly better than the previous site..<P ID="signature">______________

Hey Aaron - thank you for the comments... and actually, we think alot alike - for what it's worth...

This is a good comment, but adding more space will create a larger overall image... thereby shrinking the text even more. Not sure how to execute, but I will keep this in mind as we continue to improve...

The programmer is writing and working on this script now... the intention is use your mouse over the arrows and see a week-at-a-view, or click anywhere in that area and be forwarded to the main calendar page...

This is a project being worked on over the weekend - we should have pictures up early next week...part of the dust settling...

The chat room is simply a way to create a communication link between the station and the listener..besides - the longer they are in the chat room, the more times they see the advertisers' banners scrolling by in the upper-right-

This is also a current project for the programmer... a flash image will appear when your mouse scrolls over the menu options.

Thank you!

Please pardon the dust... This is a work-in-progress. I appreciate John's praise and I thank you, ATyler, for your input... My intention is to provide a cool resource tool for our listeners. You have great suggestions, and I will keep your thoughts in mind as we continue to build.

Re: Q92radio.com Website!

Charlotte,

It's nice to see someone in that building can take constructive criticism. Actually, you're obviously the only one in that building who knows what "constructive criticism" actually is.
BTW...the website IS a huge improvement!

Put A Fork In It Then!

With YOUR ratings, the last thing that station needs is to have you on more than you already are. And you're the Program Director.

Nice example you're setting!

That's why you're programming in Canton.

Go ahead...we're all waiting with baited breath for your latest psychotic rant. I'm sure you're trying to impress someone with your responses, Mr. Thin Skin.
