Q94 processing messed up??

Is it fuq'd up or what? I listened for a lil bit on thursday, and it didn't sound very good. I attributed it the distance to tower as I was in Yorktown at the time. But then I listened again on sunday passing thru Richmond and it still sounded bad. It just wasn't 'in your face' like radio should sound.
 
It was fixed on Monday....but man it did sound bad on Sunday! I thought on Friday Night it was good, but can't remember
