You're both right and wrong with this post. The only wrong part of your post was using the word "news" in it. When I read this and every other post like it that has been written since Lori's announcement...I had to do a double take while looking for the dates on the postings. Don't get me wrong, I love Lori...she is hands down one of the best on air personalities not only in Maine but possibly on the East Coast...and I am truly happy for her and her partner, and wish them a long life filled with love and joy. People need to stop posting this as an "outing"!!!! You'd have to turn the clock back almost 2 decades in order for that line alone to be realistic...never mind relevant. Are these people judging Lori? Are they using her life for propaganda purpose? Regardless of their motivation they need to stop. If they care about Lori...wish her well and move on with your own lives...if they don't then stop treating it like an episode of "Ellen" the sitcom...because we all know what the "outing" did for that show...and we knew about Ellen for many, many years as well. Congrats Lori...nothing but love...you're the picture of class and talent, may we all get to enjoy you for many years to come.
