Mix morning co-host gone.
Promotions Director/Mix & Wave news/Wave middays gone.
Fly APD/afternoon guy gone.
Fly night guy gone.
Traffic Manager gone.
Business Manager leaving.
Four sales people gone.
(I think I got them all)

Just A Guess: Qantum/Cumulus FWB
Over-radioed? Too many sticks... not enough cash?
Stockholders got guns at corporate's heads, who respond with guns at GM/Market Mgr heads, who respond with guns (yelling/screaming/impossible demands) at everyone else... then start firing those that don't quit first?
Just a wild guess. Not that I've seen anything like it before.

Damn man! And you were THE champion of the Fly.
That's sad. Being totally removed from
the market I have been 100% out of touch
with what could have been a well run machine/
company. What's the deal??? Maybe it's just
overpaying on the front and not making any
money since spots are cheaper than a Big Mac
on the Panhandle. I shrug (sp?) at the memories,
but the beach was pretty. Thank God for
Corporate Radio and their deep pockets. So
few have won, so many have lost (jobs, sanity,
wages below minimum wage, etc.) Ah, but to
be in r-a-d-i-o. Glad you are outta there
and doin' fine.
It has been said that 98.1 was a station that should
have never been born down there...sounds like you
can add about 50 others to the list.
Or you could probably just say
