I tried on tuning in to the subchannel that provides local weather forecasts around the clock and ocassionally airs NBC programming pre-empted by the main station on my grandma's HDTV, but it just took me to the main station. Is it just a matter of location (KWQC-DT tends to be scrambled where she lives), or did "the station that cares for you" actually pull the plug on it's own weather channel?
 
Well, as of today (Father's Day 2007), there's no NBC Weather Plus on KWQC-DT yet....Are you sure TV6 plans to add that?
 
This just in: According to northpine.com, there's a new permit for a DT-only for a channel 53 with an ID from Galesburg....
