In the Quad Cities Area, WQAD shares some programs (including Dr. Phil) with it's "My 8.3" subchannel.

KLJB and KGCW have shared programming since the latter got spun off into it's own station in early 2001.

Now WHBF is in on it as well. The first shared program: 'The Outdoorsman With Buck McNeely', now on The Quad Cities' CW as well as 'Local 4'.

It was speculated that channel 4 would share more programs with channel 26 than Fox 18. What's next, 4 and 18 sharing programming?
 
KGCW is now simulcast on WHBF 4.2, but in 4:3 480i SD. What Nexstar could do is upgrade 4.2 to 16:9 720p so more of the market can watch The CW in HD.
