QC TV Updates

According to whbf.com, Jeff Probst is coming this fall to CBS4. Of course, this will probably mean that the following shows will leave: either 'Anderson', 'Judge Judy', or 'Dr. Oz'.

Also, judging from what I found on kljb.com, I suspect that Ricki Lake's comeback will air on either Fox 18 and/or The Quad Cities' CW.

As for Katie Couric, I don't know where she will be in the QC.

Also, the channel 53 that was supposed to have signed on in 2001 but blocked by the owners of KLJB/KGCW has finally been given call letters. Now it's just a matter of getting WMWC on the air!

UPDATE: I saw a promo earlier tonight that Ellen DeGeneres was moving to 4 P.M. on HD News 8 this fall, replacing Dr. Phil. No word where the latter will go, although he could move to the 3 P.M. slot after Katie....

Lemme guess: You found it in the article you mentioned before-- the article I can't seem to find on QCTimes.com. Did that article happen to mention that Jeff Probst was coming to WHBF this fall? The most likely to be replaced are Anderson Cooper, Judge Judy, and Dr. Oz...

UPDATE: KLJB has aired a promo for the new Ricki Lake show for weekdays at 3pm. Also, Trisha Goddard will air weekdays at 1pm on The Quad Cities' CW. I'm sure Bill Cunningham will also air on The CW. This means that 'Excused' and 'The Doctors' will need to find new times and/or stations!

A list of fall schedules for each QC TV station is available as an "online extra" on qctimes.com. But that list only covers the weekday schedules.

As for weekends, I saw a promo for two shows (I can't remember which right now) that will be on KWQC (I think right after 'SNL'). Other than that, I don't know about any other weekend programs coming this fall...
