QEI FMQ-3500 plate current meter

I'm looking for some documentation on this transmitter. I just took over care of it, someone before me replaced the plate current meter with a generic dc microamps meter with no documentation, all original manuals for the transmitter are nowhere to be found.

At this time, I have no way to accurately determine plate current.

Is QEI still operating? Last time I dealt with them was to send a 695 exciter back for a tune up and it took MONTHS to get it back. That was 5 years ago. Time before that was sending a 300 watt tx back to get the finals repaired. That had to be a good 15 years ago. That took MONTHS as well.

Got the 695 on a trade for equipment. Decent exciter. But because of those service headaches, I would never buy anything QEI.

I was able to get a replacement IPA amplifier overnight. Call, don't email, and get Bob Brown to help you.

Bob saw this thread, found my email that went to spam for some reason and went out of his way to help, have a meter on the way and pdf of all the manuals.
