QFM job posting (again)

There's yet another ad on allaccess for the PD job at WQFM. I'm not sure how many times in the last year they have posted an ad for this job. Maybe 4 or 5 times? The ad says the position is for an AC PD who also has morning show experience. It leads the reader to believe that the PD would also be co-host in AM drive. I applied for the position before the Summer and was never contacted so I don't have any insight into the level of serious with which they are searching. Perhaps I'm over qualified (ie: major market mornings, succesful PD etc.). I'm not a native like Barnes. THAT could be what WQFM is looking for. Good luck (?) to whoever gets the gig.

Ugghh.... Am I gonna have to pull out my CD & resume and finally solve yet another NEPA radio crisis? ;D

Of course, the QFM thing wouldn't present anywhere NEAR as much of a challenge as the one Saturday in early 2000 when I was on 3 stations (Cat, Bear, and BHT) at one time.

Signal gets out pretty good, too. The 15 feet from my office to my bedroom - static-free! And, if I have the Jaguar parked in the right place in the driveway, I can get the station on my car radio, too ;D
