Quality Radio with Big O and Dukes

Just caught the show tonight on their official week with Free FM
Man they suck!

In 20 minutes they talked about "Banging Chicks" "Nipples" "Pot" 14 Year Olds and other childish topics.
This is Quality Radio??
Am I the only one that thinks these do not have talent and that anyone of us could go on the air and do that garbage and get callers???
Why do these 2 get gigs? College Kids on a School Radio Station would do the same stuff.

I honestly don't get why people like them?

No, actually I am not listening. I tuned in once for 20 minutes then turned it off. I will not be tuning in again. They are Bad and no amount of time will make them any better. They do a talk show from the lowest form of Talk Show styles. Sex, Drugs, Women and say anything that gets the phone to ring. That takes ZERO talent..lol :) Anyone who thinks that is creative or different from hundreds of other Shows is mistaken.
I could take anyone on here and go on the air with them and Get the exact same response of callers.
WAY to easy.

Seriously, every post you make, every ounce of energy you expend to trash them shows that you're listening and you care.

You spent 20 minutes listening? Did you? I'm glad that the 20 minutes you spent listening gives you the in depth analysis you need for a radio show that broadcasts 4 hours a day, 5 days a week.

You obviously have some sort of agenda against Big O and Dukes, whether it's personal or professional. You came out of nowhere to bash a freaking NIGHT TIME SHOW - not even an AM or PM drive show - and the majority of your posts have been how the show sucks and how they do nothing BUT TOPICS THAT APPEAL TO THE MAIN DEMOGRAPHIC THAT FREE FM IS GOING FOR. Do you think a male 18-54 who is listening to the radio at a Hot Talk station at night wants to discuss Hezbollah, or fake boobs?

You keep on using the defense that "you could go on the air" and get the same reaction.

Make us a demo tape podcast. Let's hear YOUR talent. Let's see what a top 10 market is missing out on!!

I'm not even in broadcasting, and I know that we hacks couldn't just go into a station, go on the air and pull off a successful radio talk show. Ever hear the audio of when Alec Baldwin tried it? He gave new meaning to the word "suck".

That's not to defend Big O and Dukes - I've never heard them, and I'm not a fan of the childish, cheap brand of talk you describe, but I also know that their occupation isn't as easy as it seems. The same goes for other occupations people always think to be easy.

Every post of mine you take time to reply to and every ounce you use in that reply suggests that you personally Know Big O and Dukes. Why else would you go out of your way to defend them like you have?

Yes my 20 minutes of Listening to them is emough to pass judgment. I am quite qualified to make that Judgement. I have listened to enough shows and Air Checks in 20 years to know a good show, And Big O and Dukes are nowhere near the Level of quality radio. Maybe one day a few years from now they will have some integrity and do a "Real" Radio show that requires some talent. I doubt it.
As it stands it seems a lot of people "Settle" For garbage on the air. Be careful what you wish for...lol

I can't help but notice that you had a "snappy" comeback for EVERY comment EXCEPT the one about doing a podcast demo for us.

Instead of slamming others because you qualify as a critic by "listening to airchecks", put your money where your mouth is. Let's hear that demo.

Since you have listened to 20 minutes on Big O and Dukes, and have dismissed them, I expect this to be your last post and thread on the topic. You've expressed your opinion, and it's been noted.

If you post about them again, you can't possibly make a new post without listening to them again.

That will paint you as a hypocrite.

As far as Podcasting...been there.....and have done "AM" Radio Radio for 16 years.

You don't even have to give us a podcast. You broadcasted for 16 years and you were previously in Market 12?

You could just give us some of your history to back up your qualifications. You're so quick to shoot your mouth off about your "inside knowledge" (which would point you used to work at a CBS station) and "how you could do a better job".. so please, a little detail.
