I remember when Paul Hardcastle's "19" [1985] came out there was a version that had a narrator other than Peter Thomas. This guy's voice could also be heard on the long version of that tune. I wonder what the guy's name was.
Last time I heard that song was during an all 80's weekend on Mix 94.7 KAMX Austin they edited it, I did hear a longer version of that back in November of 1993 on now defunct 96.1 KSJL in San Antonio. I have that aircheck somewhere around here. What was the narrator saying in the longer version?
I have the Record of this song (Its a 33 with just this and one other song on it)
Side 1: 19 - Extended Version (5:11)
Side 2: 19 - Destruction Mix (7:08)/The Asylum (It's wierd) (3:40)
Song sounds QUITE GOOD in analog for sure!
I remember when this song first came out they played a long version of it on the radio and I remember someone saying It had too much talking... They came out with another version with not as much.......
Is the original version they used to play FIRST the song I have on side 1?? (Extended version) I assume it is i cant remember!!
