Question about 2 songs

Where I work we have an automated music system (like Muzak) and there are two smooth jazz songs that caught my ear that I wasn't previously familiar with:

The first one I was able to ID... It is "Romeo & Juliet" by Euge Groove. Was this ever a smooth jazz chart hit? Supposedly it's from 2000. I never even heard of Euge Groove.

The second song I can't ID, at least the artist. Our music system identifies title only and I know it's called "Lost In Love" It's true smooth jazz throughout but part of the chorus is sung and it's reminiscent of a Michael McDonald background vocal sound when the chorus (the "Lost In Love" part) is sung.

Thanks for your help.

Not sure about the second song, but "Romeo & Juliet" did chart back in 2000, although only up to about #27 or 28 if I remember correctly. It was the second single from Euge Groove's debut self-titled album. He's one of the bright stars in Smooth Jazz right now, his brand new song "Get Em Goin'" is terrific. <P ID="signature">______________

Was it a Smooth Jazz cover of the old Air Supply song or a whole different piece of music?
The only one I could come up with was Tom Scott had a great original track called "Lost In Love" back in the late 80s or around 90. I don't think it had vocals though.

No, it is definately not the the Air Supply song or any remake of it. I checked out Tom Scott's song. It's a bit more upbeat then that. But thanks for the suggestion. If I hear it again at work I'll try to add more details of it.

There's a great song called "Lost To Love" by Jonathan Butler from an album called "Do You Love Me?". It's all vocal, though, so it's probably not the one you're hearing.
