Question about AM HD Stations

I live about 35 miles from 1280 AM WHTK's tower in Rochester. I get the station in fine during daylight hours, but after dusk of course I dont get the signal due to the reduction of the signal per FCC rules. The station is now broadcasting in HD. Will I be able to get the station in the nightime with A HD radio??

"The station is now broadcasting in HD. Will I be able to get the station in the nightime with A HD radio??"

No, one of the amin reasons is that AM IBOC is limited at this time to daylight hours. Another point, if you lose the analogue it's due to a patter change. The station has a four tower array and as such is very directional with deep nulls.

No. The HD signal is subject to the same nighttime reduction as the analog.
(arguably, that's the point of using IBOC instead of Eureka)
