Question about an old translator.

I ran across this old translator (Obviously from before KRTS/KROI's upgraded signal) from neighboring Sealy in an old FCC file. Calls for the translator were K221CV at 92.1 running 77 watts at 223 feet. What was this translator used for? I don't remember there ever being a 92.1 in Sealy.

K221CV is still in the FCC database as a licensed translator for KULM in Columbus. Also shows up on Radio-Locator.

If anyone is in the Sealy area, check 92.1. Coverage radius indicated on the FCC site is only three to four miles. Although 65 miles from KROI, it would get major interference unless you were very close to the transmitter.

I haven't been out that way in a while, but I suspect K221CV is not on the air. The KULM main signal is pretty good in Sealy as I recall.
