Question about Art Laboe show

I thought the Art Laboe show was completely voice tracked with the requests and dedications from earlier in day or previous days. However I called his number and the girl who answered the phone took my dedication around 930 and said Art would read it between 10 and 12. which he certainly did around 11;15 . Just wondering if he records his requests and dedications at several intervals or he is actually live sitting in his studio for 5 hours?
 
Heard Art on 94.1 in Bakersfield. Is there a list of all the stations that his show is carried on ?? Can't hear the Fresno area 94.3 from my location.
 
Go to artlaboe.com sunday special for a list of 11 stations that carry his sunday night show. 92.3 in L.A. and KOKO carry his full mon-fri show with KDES Palm Springs running 2 hours of that 10pm to 12mid.
