I know a while back we touched on this (a little). But, what exactly IS Billy Bush's involvement with Cumulus Radio? (if at all). Just seems that even his national, Sunday Morning "Weekend Top-30 Countown" has been watered-down by Cumulus. First, now I guess the "countdown extras" have to be interjected LOCALLY by Q100. Either that, or it's just a REALLY freaky coincidence how Billy Bush's "countdown extras" just happen to be the exact same crappy (AC-ish) recurrents that Q100 plays already...(profusely)! But, I've noticed that even when he's live....(okay, [size=10pt][size=10pt]"[/size][/size]LIVE[size=10pt][size=10pt]"[/size][/size])! Or at least, when a song he plays is actually a part of his show, I notice (like I mentioned) it's the same exact, "watered-down" EDIT-version that Q100 plays.
i.e., Katy Perry (WITHOUT Snoop), Enrique (WITHOUT) Pitbull, etc. Even the selection of songs in his "weekend Top-30 countdown" (that are ACTUALLY numbered and charted in his countdown seem WAY too Adult-CHR. Also, Em's "Not Afraid" is Top-5 nationally. BUT, (just like our Q100)....I've never heard it played on Billy Bush's countdown...blah, blah, blah...
Anyway, just stuff like that seems odd. Now, I already know Billy's show is part of Westwood One But, doesn't it also seem very much like Cumulus has also taken over the mind for our beloved "Access Hollywood" host?? ......EEERRRRRRIIIIIEEEEE!
