Question about Corpus FM Ratings

I have a question about the ratings this time, how come a lot of radio stations came in with N/A?

They are not subscribed.

If you do not subscribe to Nielsen, your station is not listed in the publicly published ratings. People who are subscribers can see who is where, but without paying, you can't. The public 12+ ratings are pretty much worthless. Recently, Nielsen announced that if you simulcast on more than one station, they will no longer combine the stations in their ratings. Instead, they will report the stations individually. If you subscribe, they will combine stations if requested to do so. I suppose it is one way to get people to subscribe.

I sure do miss nuzguy and the snoman, Chuck. Do you realize how long it's been since there's been a good, old fashioned KYKX or Dru thread on the Texas boards?

It has been a while. Frankly, I think most radio discussion has moved to social media. I guess I'm old fashioned and like this kind of newsgroup better.
