Question about FM reception on 100.5...

I have a good friend who lived in Canton, OH and back in the mid-90s he got a station on 100.5 that he thought said 'Rockin' the Bronx on 100.5' I told him that maybe it was 'Rockin' the FOX on 100.5' because NYC has a station on 100.3 (WHTZ, Top-40) but not 100.5. Does anyone know of an FM station in a town called Bronx in another state on 100.5 or possibly a '100.5 the Fox' that would have existed in the mid-90s? I could only find a '100.5 the Fox' in Alaska. I assume he was getting tropo or e-skip that day.

It might have been the old WTFX in Louisville, KY, if they were called 100.5 The Fox in the 1990s. Would be tropo.
