Question About KEZB in Edna -- jras20?

Does anyone know anything about 96.1 in Edna (near Victoria) -- I just saw on the FCC web pages that the owner is asking to go silent because of a dispute with the tower owner. Did it ever have any listeners in Victoria? What was its format?

That was/is one of Roy Henderson’s stations. He simulcast Lonestar 104.7 (Victoria) onto 96.1 (Edna), even though both stations had a very similar footprint. (Victoria and Edna are about 20 miles from each other) It was a country format, with a mix of Texas country and classic country. Incidentally, all of his station in the Victoria market are off the air, and have been for some time now. 94.1, 96.1 and 104.7.

Yes as Radio girl pointed out they were off the air since 4/07, They only have been on the air for a short while. The format was always simalcasting on KZAM now KULF 104.7
