Question about KOA show back in the 80's

I used to dx KOA in Houston during the 80's and they had a guy on Saturday nights who would play old 78's on a windup phonograph.
Anybody know who he might be? He had an old record store and collectibles shop someplace in the area and I'm wondering if it might still be in business.
