I don't seem to get any of the new Canadian Channels. My rebroadcaster (which I bought at a Circuit City in March) gets Playboy but nothing else above the nationwide weather channel, which I think is 184.
Even though I only bought it six months ago, is it already outdated? Luckily most of the new Canadian Channels are in French. Is it Sirius' plan to have everyone in North America get the same channel line up, hence all the new Canadian channels? I'm also surprised that Sirius carries CBC Radio One (minus most of the music programming) and Radio Three... but doesn't have to carry Radio Two (or the French network's equivilent Espace Musical). You'd think the CBC/SRC would have required their classical music channels to be included since they still don't cover many rural areas.
You'd also think Sirius would be required to carry a talk station such as CFRB, since the CBC Radio One channel is mostly news and news magazine shows, not talk. Sirius has numerous American talk networks, Patriot, Left, Fox, ABC, even OutQ and the 2 NPR stations take phone calls about politics and current events. But there's no similar station for Canadian listeners.
BTW, I'm also disappointed to lose PRI and (I hope only temporarily) The Bridge. If The Who are primarily a Classic Rock group, why not put The Who on one of the multiple Classic Rock channels?
