Question About the YES Cable Channel

I know many of the Yankees' games are on the YES cable channel. I just got it added for the TV's in my home from Time Warner here in Cincinnati. I noticed that yesterday's Yankees-Cubs game was on YES, but the channel here showed other programs such as "Yankeeogrophy". The YES feed was shown on the MLB (Major League Baseball) cable channel. I thought this might be why it wasn't shown on YES because of duplication as the MLB channel is in the same tier on the cable system here as YES. My question is - are any of the Yankees' games shown on YES on cable systems outside of the New York area? When I called Time Warner, the customer service representative did not know. Thanks for any information.

What you are seeing outside Yankees territory is "YES National" - just the specialty programming, no games. NESN does a similar feed for viewers outside Red Sox territory.
