question about TV (Waste)Land

Did they drop all the reality shows? I use to see the promos all the time, now a zillion promos for its movies........

I just scanned their schedule for the next 10 days and don't see no reality shows except repeats of Extreme Makeover, it's about time now they need to stop running 60 episodes of Roseanne and Andy Griffith every week, running them into the ground, showing them over, over ,over ,over ,over and over again.they need to add more shows. Maybe Viacom moved the reality shows to the official networks for reality shows VH1 and MTV.

I guess your not watching MTV!! (Almost nothing but garbage)

You got that right, what ever happen to MUSIC TV they really should change their name to CRTV meaning CRAP REALITY TV same with VH1.

I was speaking of their original programming:
She's Got the Look
The Cougar
High School Reunion
How'd You Get So Rich, etc.

We be really great of they decided to cancel them all.

I believe those are gone don't see them in the next 2 weeks, GOOD, they all sucked.

You do realize cable original series often go away for weeks or months at a time before resurfacing with a new season, right? Not being on over the next two weeks isn't necessarily an obituary.

While you are correct imhomerjay, they usually used to keep at least one in rotation, then get another to replace it after its cycle

Understood. I'm just thinking it's reading too much into anything that none are in cycle right now. Not that all are coming back, but not that all are toast either. Not all of the networks are as aggressive in the fall, so that could be a factor.

If that's the case, then can anyone explain why nearly half of the shows that debut in the Wednesday 10:30 PM slot after "South Park" eventually disappear once Comedy Central puts new shows in their place?

If neary half the shows in that slot eventually disappear ('eventually' being an open term, since 'eventually' everything disappears), that means roughly half don't. The point was it's not necessarily an all-or-nothing proposition.

well.....FTW....saw a promo for Make My Day.....so imhomerjay, you called it.....props to you 8).....un-props to TV Wasteland
