Heidi Kemp

Is Heidi moving to another station?
By the way saw the return of Amy DeLuca last night and boy is she a classy anchor.

Agree about A.DeLuca. Time has not done any damage as it were, she's better than I remember. I see this as a net-plus for 12. They are probably glad the former anchor left after a few weeks. NBC/10 had better get the act together, they are resting on past success.

Heidi Kemp is heading to the ABC affiliate in Tampa, Florida.

Delia Goncalves is also leaving the station soon. She's heading to the ABC affiliate in Baltimore, Maryland.

And how do we know all this ?? Also, does anyone know whats the deal with Pete Lucas ? Whats his actucal position there ?

Thats too bad. I met her when I was there, and she was cool.
She's also a good on air reporter.

How do we know all this? Well, established contributors to this board (such as people like Tex, Skynet, and myself) know that I do work for WPRI-TV. That's how I would know this information. The information I posted is already public knowledge anyway.

What's Pete Lucas' actual position there? Well, you have seen him doing reports and anchoring during the Sports Wrap show on Fox 64...and during sports segments on WPRI. So, that would make Pete Lucas a sports reporter and anchor...along side Patrick Little and Robb Garofalo.

Yes, Delia is a very nice person and a joy to work with. WPRI's loss is WMAR's gain. Good luck to her in Baltimore.

I think the bigger loss will be Heidi Kemp. She is a great anchor an I think very attractive. I saw she came from NY after a time out of broadcasting. Her bio said she was married an had kids but that is gone now. Just curious.....I saw the change in the bio. I hope she does well in FLA. Good Luck to her.
