Question about WTIC-AM 1080 carring the Patriots game

I just checked WTIC-AM 1080 and they're airing the Patriots vs Lions NFL game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't that game be exclusive to WCCC-FM 106.9 for the Hartford/New Britain/Middletown radio market?

(On the bright side, I can listen to the game without having to hear Gil Santos, which is nice! :D)

Isn't the game also on WTIC-FM HD3 which is 98.5 The Sports Hub straight out of Boston. For those who have HD Radios. As for WTIC 1080 I wouldn't be surprised they get the rights for the Patriots down the road.

1. "For those who have HD radios"... You mean, all four of them?

2. "I wouldn't be surprised if [WTIC 1080 gets] the rights for the Patriots down the road"... CBS vs. Marlin - kinda like David vs. Goliath - no contest...

Would WAQY Springfield (another David, at least compared to CBS Radio) retain its rights if the Pats were to move to WTIC? Or is WAQY still considered to serve a separate market no matter how big a signal it pumps into the Hartford market?
