Question for drt - DXing at Hutchinson Island

I myself have wanted to attempt DXn from Cape Canaveral, but on the maps, I see no access to their coastline. Any idea how I can get to the shoreline at the cape? or is the place top secret?

CD - have a look at Playalinda Beach. I think it's going to be the most accessible area near the Cape. I spent some time there last year with the family and wished I had brought the radio equipment to do some daylight DXing. When I go back again I'll be better prepared...

Any suggestion would be fine with me. It will give me something to do come late June, when likely everything will be groundwave. If only I could afford Bermuda again....sigh
