Question for Michael Haggerty about cbs radio

Michael, about 33 months ago you told us the new gm "will be great for CBS Radio-Phx". That's a quote.

well...about 33 months later "great" will need to be redefined.

last check:
*he's been thru 8 pds in 30 months (hmmm...why was MICHAEL MARTIN in the building after hours last week...?)
*his marketing director quit last month to do...nothing. (how bad does it have to be to leave a job in this economy?)
*as of last week- (after multiple resignations, terminations) there isn't a single sales manager left on staff. NOT ONE MANAGER to set rates, train, take clients to lunch, irritate us programmers, etc... for a company the size of cbs ?????? (this may be the most staggering point!)
*according to an "insider" the "new gm" has averaged a pd/sales manager change every 1.50 months. 1 new manager every 45 days

here's a positive...he's the only guy in radio "hiring" anybody. here's how the ad reads: "looking for a 45 day career...?"

hope the book sales are strong.

here's a new book idea "A DUI SENTENCE AT TENT CITY ....OR..... A CBS RADIO CAREER...THINGS YOU CAN FINISH IN 45 DAYS"

michael, care to try on my 20/20 hindsight goggles?

(i disclose that i worked for clancy woods)

If only half the above is true it would explain the downward spiral in both KOOL and KMLE (from a listener perspective).

As Charlie Van Dyke used to say: "What do I know? I thought "Hey Jude" was a stiff."

From what you say, it sounds like I was wrong. If you knew all that almost three years ago, you're better at calling this stuff than I am. I just thought you were being tough on him back then and that he could use the benefit of the doubt.

What a 'jockular' thing to say. ;D

Who knew that hindsight was 20/20? :D

And Charlie worked at several stations (CKLW, KFRC, KGB, KHJ) where they did....20/20 News!

Coincidence?

I think not... :)

Doesn't KKNT do (with a straight face) 30/30 news? In fact, good ol Lumberyard 14~Forty does 00/00 news ;)

Nurse Jeff and I think all this silliness means Prof Hagerty can go back to his classes at the Buckeye Media Hut and forget about questions concerning SeeBS!
