Question for staff or listeners of 77WABC

During the network TV run of "77 Sunset Strip", Did WABC ever use the theme to create a "77ABC" jingle that ran on the air?

Yes, there was a jingle package that had a sound similar to the show....before WABC came up with their signature melody.

The WABC "77" stinger is based on "We'll Take Manhattan" by Rogers and Hart. Not the theme from 77 Sunset Strip (a real building and an actual address, although never the home of a detective agency).

Thank you for your responses! I knew that the world famous 77WABC jingle was not based on the theme from 77 Sunset Strip. I just wondered if during the course of the show that WABC didn't take advantage of the shows connection with their dial position and recreate the song as a station jingle package. Since it was an ABC show, it must have crossed someone's mind that this would be a good cross-promotion opportunity.
