Question -- Jack Bogut on the Big K

Hello, newb here, looking for an answer.

I'm guessing it was 1975, '76 or thereabouts, Jack Bogut played a song in the morning to 'start your heart'. He called it the Big Turkey, probably in conjunction with the turkey tracks stickers KDKA would mail to you if you requested some.

Does anyone recall the proper name of the song?

I emailed Jack about 10 years ago to see if he remembered. Per him:

-----------------------
About "The Big Turkey . . . " —I made up lyrics to the rhythm pattern of a
Peggy Lee song (I don't recall which one) and used them over and over.

"Everybody loves to do the Big Turkey
Cleans up your mind and makes you feel perky
Makes you feel fine where the sun don't shine."
-----------------------

Peggy Lee? Couldn't be! From what I recall, the song was primarily someone having a LOT of fun on a Moog synthesizer, with drum accompaniment and occasional vocals. If it was indeed a Moog, that would probably place the composition no earlier than 1968, way past Miss Peggy's major output. Additionally, it sounds nothing like a Peggy Lee song -- lots of Moog wheeeeeers and wowwwowwwowweeer sounds.

Jack usually played a 30-45 second snippet of the song, with his overdubbed lyrics, but a few times, probably pre-Big Turkey, he played the entire song, he obviously liked it. I was probably 10-11 years old at the time, I thought it was funny.

Hopefully, some of yinz remember the Big Turkey campaign ... can someone supply me with the proper song title and performer?

Thankew,
Jay

Must have been either before or after "Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road".
