Different markets, different owners, different conditions. Ben does pretty well, while "Jack" was a disappointment. Nor are they associated in any way. I wouldn't worry, Ben will be around for a while longer.

I say this every time someone starts the "PHILADELPHIA NEEDS A DANCE STATION" meme.

Please stop and repeat to yourself quietly, "New York is not Philadelphia; Philadelphia is not New York."

Different markets, different demographics, different tastes. You cannot predict the success or failure in either market, or any market for that matter, based on the other.

Must chime in... all valid points, and I agree with all.

Greater Media FINALLY has a winner on 95.7 (after buying out WFLN and the skunk abortions known as Max, Jammin' Gold, and Mix) so don't look for any change soon.

(PS - and, no, Philly STILL doesn't need a dance station. You have My 106.1, deal!)
