Question of the Day

Amusing moment when Greta is interviewing a criminal investigator about yet another murder of a young girl, this one in Texas.

GRETA: Here we are with still another murder. lt seems like more and more of them are on TV lately. Are there really more homicides or is it that "we" are just paying more attention to them?

Begs the question: does "we" for some reason no longer include Greta, and just who does she think, other than"we," is paying all this attention to one killing after another and filling endless hours of airtime with it?

At least she didn't tag the segment, "Meantime in Aruba the search goes on for Natalie Holloway. Will there ever be a solution? Will the killer be brought to justice. Stay tuned, Beth Holloway Twitty will be here next."

Knock, knock. Hello-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o, Greta. Anybody home?

Basically the same can be said if you insert Nancy Grace and substitute for Greta. Both are irrelvant and I watch neither. I don't give a flying leap about what these two ladies obsess about on the airwaves.

All of these cable "news" shows are interchangeable.
Why can't they have a channel with news 24/7. I am sure that people would watch it.

Nancy, Rita, Greta, the corps of blonde news readers--all quite the show. I caught the "we" routine with Greta whole scanning across the array of dog and pony shows and couldn't resist seeing where she went with it.

News 24/7 for the likes of Fox, MSNBC, et al--a worthy goal but not likely to happen--too costly and it would require an assembly of people with a modicum of brain power and who could do something in addition to gazing at a teleprompter and mouthing the words.
