Question on TV Guide Announcer

Namely, would anyone know the voice heard on countless TV Guide commercials from at least the mid-1960's up to 1980, as on these examples:
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leDbrE97suw (1967; The Monkees on the cover)
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVziy3fioS0 (1978; Ron Leibman of Kaz on the cover)
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4U3GyY-y6sg (1979)
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAscR5pwolU (1979; Tom Snyder on the cover)
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHlECNtIliU (1979; Muhammad Ali on the cover)
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmKq9IQxt70 (1979; Rod Arrants of Search for Tomorrow on the cover)
- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAKRNJI6EK8 (1980; One Day at a Time cast on the cover)

Ken Roberts?? (he of "Love of Life" and "Edge of Night" announcing and FATHER of Broadway/movie actor Tony Roberts....)

Found another one, from 1975, can't tell what the cover subject is, but an article about reality in soaps is mentioned, and the writer mentions soap creator/writer Agnes Nixon. The ad is preceded by a Barney Miller slide promo.

On the cover were Valerie Harper and David Groh of Rhoda, caricatured by Al Hirschfeld. As for the Barney Miller slide, the announcer was the "Voice of ABC News," Bill Rice.

I'll have to see if old Love of Life clips are "out there" to see what is meant. I looked at one such ending from 1975, and the TVG voice didn't sound that much like Ken Roberts . . .
