With the recent flip of KBRG 100.3 in San Jose to Recuerdos, the station is now part of Univision (along with KLOK 1170). The station trade was said to be mandatory as it reduced Univision's stake in Entravision, a requirement of the HBC/Univision merger.
Now, the question: Has Univision announced what trade will be done to reduce their stake to 15%, which should happen by March 26, 2006?
(just a thought: perhaps it would be wise for Univision to use the other reduction to grab WUNI-27 in Boston from Entravision. As Univision owns Telefutura affiliate WUTF-66 (though under JSA/LMA to Entravision), it could give Univision a strong duopoly in their largest non-O&O market (note: not largest Hispanic market).)
