Is commenting on an individual's on-air or widely know personality traits and open and notorious behavior considered trolling?
Just because it is not complimentary does not make it any less true and open for discussion.
My thought is if someone makes themselves a public figure freely and gets paid to do so then all bets are off.
Even in the law of torts a public figure - especially one who has become a public figure voluntarily and for profit - has to prove malice in cases of libel or slander.
Let's hope no one libels ( print form ) any individual here. Still, truth is an ultimate defense against both libel (written) and slander (oral).
Truth then should not be considered Trolling.
Don't think the managers of this website want reckless postings but don't think they just want cheerleaders and pablum either or am I entirely wrong.
