Question to Dish subscribers

If you have Dish, is WXIA off this morning? I know there are money
issues between Dish and Gannett; the Gannett station where I live,
WFMY, has been running crawls saying that Dish subscribers might
lose the station as of 6 this morning. Since I have DirecTV I'm not
affected by this, but since I get a Gannett station now and used to
get 11 Alive when I was at UGA, I'm curious as to what's going on.

They will give in, pay Gannett more and then pass that cost along to the subs. I keep wondering when do we get to the point they price themselves out of the market. I guess it's like that analogy of putting a frog in a big pot of water. Incremental increases to the temperature of the water until the frog is boiled and the frog won't know what hit him.
