Question? Who am I thinking of? Programmer/consultant

There was a married couple a while back, I think he was a Rock radio programmer/consultant and she was involved in Urban radio. I think they were in Atlanta, but I'm not sure. He might have been with WKLS. Do you know?

Mary Catherine's husband was Alan Sneed.

Alan programmed WKLS/96 Rock in its very successful early years. Mary Catherine managed V-103 for years, and then, as David mentioned, joined Radio One when the company was just getting started in Atlanta. The first station in the cluster was Hot 97.5. She eventually became President of Radio One.

I was surprised to realize just yesterday that Alan Sneed and I worked at 15Q in Knoxville. He was part of the "Brothers" show, with Gary Atkins. I knew Gary, and I must have known Alan, but I don't remember. It might have been that he had already left WKVQ to program WKGN before I started at 15Q, so I'm not sure if we were there at the same time. Chuck Boo Barron, Ron Baptist, Bill (Birdman) Thomas, George Patrick (Tom) Dooley, Allen Free Bill (Suitcase Simpson) Miller, Eddie (Swangin' Deacon) Beacon, and so many others were there.
