What radio stations in London and The Uk have the closest version to what would be called Oldies in the US?

I'm looking for a few stations to listen to online...

Oldies is not the UK's strong point. But Saga Radio, I suppose, would be the best. It has four regional stations, but isn't in London. Oldies in London is covered by Capital Gold, which is on AM!

Classic Gold throws a decent, if not great, signal into Central London (from Luton. if memory serves). I agree, most fans of North American-style oldies stations will be disappointed with UK oldies stations. The Aussie oldies stations come closer to what we have here in North America, but they also tend to be slightly different in style/presentation as well.

How does the presentation style differ?/

Paul,

I would describe the presentation as often more high energy and "contemporary" than in North America or Austrailia. Sometimes almost approaching a "hip hop" approach The music on UK "Oldies" stations also is typically of more recent vintage than on this side of the pond. 80s and 90s are as likely to be in the mix as 60s Motown, etc. One wouldn't expect to hear a Four Tops/Cranberries segue on an oldies station here, but that's one actual example what I heard last month listening to Capital Gold in my London hotel room.
