Question....

I am told there are about 110 FM sports stations in the U.S. Is that correct?

What are the most recent FM stations to switch from music to sports?

Have any of you heard any rumblings about a new FM sports station popping up in a Top 20 market or anywhere else?

Does anyone know where to go to find out that advertisers like sports radio or that sports radio is a smart format ad-wise?

so are there any well-connected insiders out there or is this just a board for board-ops and people who call in and talk all the time? Seems like the latter.

If there are any "well-connected insiders" here, I'm pretty sure none of them cares now that you went all Brother Superior on us.
Why would you ask a question you don't know the answer to, then chastise other people for not knowing the answer to the question you don't know the answer to? Seems kinda disingenuous and self-serving to me.

I guess, in your opinion, 24 hours is enough time for "well-connected insiders" to respond to a question on one message board in one place on the internet? Might wanna relax a lil' bit, or google more.
