Don't know where else to post this question since there apparently is no forum for Cincy or Ohio TV.

Does anyone know whether or not there is a chance a Cincinnati or Dayton TV station may pick up Antenna TV on one of its sub channels in the future?

64.2 was Cool TV and it's now blank so there is a spot for them. Does Sinclair carry Antenna TV on any of there stations? I don't think they do. Cozi TV was just added to LP Ch 25.3 WBQC.

Absolutely would be extremely grateful if someone in either the Cincinnati and/or Dayton market would pick up Antenna TV Network. It's as good or better than MeTV.
What boggles my mind is why in the world WDTN Channel 2 (Dayton) does not place something on 2.2 besides the SD version of the main network. A waste IMHO. They reach well into the Cincinnati market operating at maximum power.
BTW: Cozi TV is a nice change.

Now that they own WKRC-12, I think Sinclair is going to have to sell WSTR-64. <someone correct me if I'm off on that>

I doubt we'll see anything on their digital channel until a new owner takes over.

I wonder if there's a market for The Nashville Network here in Cincy....the Luken folks beind RTV have brought that channel back as a retro offering as well.

While I don't watch a lot of TV each week I have found that Antenna TV has just as many of my favorite programs from the past as ME TV. Since I will be moving to the Cincinnati area later this year I am hoping at some point that someone will pick up Antenna TV. Great to watch on days when you are sick and can't go to work or just want to play the role of a couch potato for a few hours.

Not necessarily. I don't know all the ins and outs. But there's plenty of duopolies, especially in bigger markets.

Deerfield who will own WSTR is a shell company operated under Sinclair, That's my understanding on how they skirt around those duopoly rules.

What Sinclair usually does is sell it to a company owned by one of its shareholders, then they lease it back to them selves, and run both, In Columbus they own WSYX ABC6, and WTTE FOX28, and now also have control of WWHO 53 - CW Columbus

Yep.. Here in Columbus they run WSYX ABC6, WTTE FOX28 and WWHO The CW... It was very evident on Saturday evening when Sinclair lost power at their studios and 3 stations disappeared for a few hours!
