Questions about 2 sponsors on WPRO

why on earth would a medical practice ,Chatworth located in Worcester advertise so often ,Very few if any WPRO listeners are inclined to leave their doctors and travel 45 or so miles to Worcester which because of its elevation gets more snow than we do. Also the help your neighbor energy spot I thought was a psa is a paid commercial. Is the Salvation Army paying for it ? Is anyone making money off this plea for help?

That's actually Chadwick Medical Associates.Maybe for more serious diagnostic services people will drive a distance.

Maybe WPRO has a decent signal in the Worcester area. I've picked the station up in both Yorke Beach Maine as well as Rye New York. So it doesn't seem like much of a stretch that they could possibly have a good amount of listeners in the Worcester area.

Yup, excellent signal in Worcester. I used to listen to them all the time 20 years ago (back in the days of morning guy Jimmy Gray, Tony Bristol, Tony "TM in the PM" Mascaro, and others I can't recall off the top of my head). I'd listen to them now but their music doesn't appeal to me anymore.

WPRO-AM is the station in question, not the FM
