Questions about a part 15 FM antenna

In all fairness, I build part 15 AM antennas so I'm familiar with that technology.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Here are the questions:1. I plan to use an EDM 100mW transmitter.>>>I NEED to hide the antenna>>>Reports are that inside a house, the transmitter does about a 1/2 mile..not bad!>>>>>>>what would be the smallest antenna I could use?2. I know the tx will operate with either of a 1/4, 1/2 or 5/8 wave antenna.>>>Being that I think they are talking about CB antennas, would a very small ground plane (think they used to call em "moonrakers") work?3. Could I construct something from copper pipe for the antenna? It looks like it requires coax (ugh!).4. Being I can't raise the antenna very far, I want the highest gain antenna I can get, since it will live inside a thin wooden shed, only about 6 feet above the ground. Would you recommend grounding it?...(never heard of a ground FM antenna, but I'm learning here)>>>>>5. ANY info you can give me would be great. EDM does have a schematic for the antenna, but unfortunately I can't see it well enough to copy it, and it is a 1/4 wave, stubby spider-type antenna.Carl<P ID="signature">______________

Don't forget, for it to be Part-15 compliant it must only measure
250uV @ 3 meters. Thats not very much power!

234/f (f=freq) will give you a simple 1/4wave... unity gain, but a fairly
small design and simple to build.

Remember with an antenna though, height is might!

Trying a little bit of "pirate" radio are we?

I have connected my outdoor antenna (VU75XR) to the output of my VCR or cable box and transmitted audio on channell 3 or 4 here in Dallas
I have taken my sony Wlkman CD player and tested out my signal I coud pick it up 6 houses down the street from me which is about 1000 or so feet from my house
Pretty sneaky if you ask me! :)
