1. What is an operations manager's job?
2. What are the responsibilities of an operations manager?
3. What is the average salary of an operations manager?
4. What is a typical day for an operations manager?
5. Is this a time consuming posistion?
6. Do operations managers get a say in a stations format?
7. Do operations magagers get to chooses the jingles and imaging for their stations?

I'll take a crack at this:

1. It all depends on the cluster or the radio station, but typically an operations manager answers to the general manager and may be responsible for the overall technical, programming and sales interaction for all stations in the building...or a couple.

2. see above.

3. It all depends on the market, all depends on the level of responsibility.

4. see 1,2,and 3...but i can guarantee that no two days are ever alike.

5. Yes.

6. It all depends on the company, and the ops manager's level of business savvy. In larger companies, oftentimes, not really.

7. Oftentimes, yes.
