Quick

On a small-town station- partake in a 5 minute conversation with a fellow employee (at one point talking about how much money some other people at the station made). Luckily, we were in the back of the control room, "religious programming" was airing, and I don't think we picked up loudly over the air.

On WIVK - burping after reading the weather forecast

The very first time I cracked open a mic live on the air...I messed up really, really bad.
Got everything but my own name wrong! Now that I look back...the break probably wasn't
a total disaster......but the next thing was...

I was so mad that I screwed up the break...I said s---...the mic was still hot...it was a gospel station.

Notice how Spindoctor asked everybody else the dumbest thing they'd ever done on the air, but he didn't share what he did. I can think of two fantastic examples...should I tell on him? ;D

Back in the good ol' days, I ended up stuck with Sunday mornings, taking care of the pay-and-spray preachers. We had 15 minutes of "nothing" between two programs, which I always filled with Southern Gospel. One morning, I was um, singing along, and the mic was open. I wasn't exactly being serious with my singing along...I was being a typical kid and mocking the music. Luckily, I don't think anybody realized I was being smart. However, even though I didn't get busted, I learned a valuable lesson.
