Quicksie 98.3

How long has this station been on the air? I heard this is one of the best hot ACs ever - how is that? I have heard this station before a long time ago - they used to stream - wish they were still but broadcastmusic.com (or was it broadcastradio.com?) is no more. If this is one of the best hot ACS, I would like an aircheck please. I'm looking for the best sounding stations for airchecks. Anyone have any of Quicksie?

I heard a really odd mix a train wreck i heard sorry by buckcherry into the beatles eight days a week into nickelback rockstar isn't that strange.

JACK-FM or LOUIE on crack...

Could not disagree more it is a really good station that thinks outside the box but for some reason in the past year they have added 70s to there playlist. They are ahot ac they leans asomewhat modern but then they ad 70s kinda odd but they will play 2nd and 3rd tier hits fromt he 80s but they do think outside the box.

I respect your opinion...From a programmers stand point I believe it's bad radio..Thinking outside the box is fine....but if you are trying to build a passionate base of listeners, that is not the way to do it...There is a reason they are no longer number 1 in Hardin county....The jocks are not in the best in town, there quarter hours are not strong, the way they position themselves makes no sense, and there segways are bad...If they cleaned it up some, they would be a lot better off...They have a good news department that's about the best I can say....

Dude Lex, they are in market # 500 something, give them a break LOL.

I agree with some of your points like they say "the station more boomers listen to then any other station" who wants to be told they are getting old and like another thing they say is "more parents listen to quicksie then any other station in hardin county" along those lines kinda odd. And when the segways do need work. When they break for commercials they don't say anything liek we will be back just go into the commercial. They have a good morning show i like greg and holly and i think neal howard is really good at nights but you have to give them credit they are live 24/7.Even overnights. When they play 70s i flip it or 80s unless it is alesser known 80s tune i will flip the station. They do play dashboard confessional and that makes me ;D

Greg is better on county... if it was a college station it would be great... but I agree, from a programming view it's a mess...

And no, they are NOT live 24.7 and yes the jocks suck!

WQXE has been in existence since 1969...Top 40 to Beautiful Music to AC and back to Top 40, although I'm not sure what they officially call their format. As for airchecks, go to their website and try contacting the PD, who I think is Holly. I'm not sure if they do, but it's worth a try.

There you are wrong, Patrick...they are NOT live 24-7. At least not overnights, as their parking lot is void of any vehicles and the station is dark.
