Quikrock

A better question is, can they get advertiser support long-term. Magnum has taken on a lot of extra
overhead (especially new employees) with this format change, and lost their one steady income stream
with the recent LMA of WPHB. It should be interesting to watch.

My view - the new Quik is pretty well programmed, the jocks are ok, and it's a worthwhile listen.

I'm diggin" Drew Shannon on the internet. This steaming that they are doing is something is it not?

I'm not too good on links but perhaps the "all-night-satelite might know. He's more up on this internet stuff than I am. He installs those TV dishes for a living.

This stream has apparently dried up. qwkrock.com just coming up with a this site is off message. Anybody else offer any help on this?

Honey 106....or Hunny 106...Real Oldies is on the air. Is this Forever giving Huntingdon County back a signal of it's own with it's Mount Union license on channel 292A or 106.3fm?

Yes! It's WHUN-FM....HUNNY 106.3. They use Scott Shannon's True Oldies Channel. From the look of their website, they are trying to be Huntingdon County's local station. They even say they'll announce lost pets! I wonder if they can get Shannon to voice any of these? I can hear it now...."I'm Scott Shannon and a shih-tzu has been found in the area of Raystown lake." All kidding aside.....if they can cater to the locals...it's a step in the right direction. Check out their site at www.hunny106.com.

OH boy, nice to have a "real oldies" station around these parts but I sure hope they don't it gets "beed" the way Froggy is "frogged".
