Is this a specialty show?

Many classic hit stations are opening up their playlists. Songs you wouldn't hear a year or two ago are showing up now. Maybe we are all getting a little more grey and nostaglic ;D

"Variety" (SHE) has also decreased the playlist from 900+ songs to about 500+

Last time I listened it was all over the place, and didn't sound very good.

By the looking at the list, it has added several of the songs 102.7 dropped. All the adds are songs that should test well in Miami.

I am guessing they run the "Classic Lite" feed on their stream in the overnight, which is similar to what quite a few AC stations do, including WLTW and KOST. For some reason, both the music that airs on the air AND on the stream (which are different on the overnights) often appear in the "last played" section on the CC stations' websites. This definitely happens on WLTW's.

Can someone confirm?

And that is why we usually look at 6 AM-Midnight or even 6 AM to 7 PM when checking another station's music on BDS, MediaBase, etc.

Good points all around. I didn't consider alternate song data pushed through the stream showing up on the station's site.

However, considering how vital a radio station's website is to their presence besides the social media, isn't this (for lack of better words) sloppy IT work?
