Did WEEI-FM do something to their singal? I used to be able to get a somewhat listenable signal from them in various parts of the town I live in in Connecticut in the car and now I don't get any sign of them. Now my radio goes from WDRC 102.9 to WURH 104.1 with no stations in-between.
Something happened during the storm the other day....WEEI-FM was unlistenable w/ static almost all day. I wonder if they are on back up at the moment while primary transmitter is being repaired from whatever happened on monday
WEEI-FM is not moving, it was a technical hiccup of some kind.
And WAAF is listenable in most of the Boston area, in fact there are few places in the metro area where I haven't been able to pick it up.
(Mainly into the south shore)

WAAF is worse in The Boston Area , than it use to be . 97.7 is no help , because 97.7 is in a non-rock fan area . But thank god , WEEI-FM is not moving anywhere .
must have been a temporary problem; listened to them yesterday from Willington CT (I-86) to Oxford, MA (on the Pike) on 103.7 w/ a good signal. It got a little choppy so I switched to 1440 AM Worc.
I've noticed that, since cell phones came in, you never hear people say reception is getting "choppy" anymore. Nowadays, people always say it's "breaking up" instead...
